This is a collection of "national defense charts" produced by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation which purport to document the activities of the Communist Party in the United States. The charts were first declassified and uploaded online by the Presidential Library of Franklin D. Roosevelt here: http://www.fdrlibrary.marist.edu/_resources/images/morg/md0432.pdfThey were archived as part of the "Diaries of Henry Morgenthau, Jr.", Volume 329, in November, 1940. Unfortunately, the library digitized their scans of the charts in a way that not only did not record their color, but also compressed them and distorted the images.
