Young Louis "The Side Man" (1924-1927). Louis Armstrong (1901-1971) trumpet and cornet. A compilation of early Satchmo recordings with various orchestras made between 1924 and 1927 in both New York and Chicago. These are early electrical recordings and some of these may have been doctored to simulate stereo. Transfer from the 1980 MCA Records "Jazz Heritage Series Vol. 2" LP MCA-1301 by Bob Varney.
