Ps 84:10 - Better
is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;

This one is a
shout out or a banner against those who do not appear or careless to be in the
church on Sundays.

\u00b7
The essence is
more important now than the form. To be in the essence of Sunday spending time
being fed by the word by no less than your dear pastor or shepherd.

Ps 84:1-4

How lovely is your dwelling
place, O LORD Almighty.

2 I long, yes, I faint with
longing to enter the courts of the LORD. With my whole being, body and soul, I
will shout joyfully to the living God. 3 Even the sparrow finds a home there,
and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young \u2014 at a place near your
altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God! 4 How happy are those who can live
in your house, always singing your praises. NLT

We been in our
\u201cchurches\u201d for years now and it is the first time that we celebrate Sunday
Worship physically far from each other.

\u00b7
How we wish we
could sing loud together, offer our corporate worship together, expressing our
love and adoration, our worship, our thanksgiving to the King of kings and Lord
of lords.

\u00b7
But where really
is the temple and the house of God other than His people, God lives and happy
to live in the hearts of men.

\u00b7
So whether we are
corporately together or far away it has no difference.

\u00b7
We are resilient
in the midst of this World-wide crisis. And we know that God has a plan for it.

TRANSITION:

I would like to share
this popular chapter in the Bible in the Book of Psalms 91, not all the verses,
you can read it if you have time. I would like to pick up some highlights here.

HOW SECURE WE ARE IN THE PROTECTION OF GOD?

Ps 91:1-4

91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret
place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my
refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from
the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his
feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield
and buckler.

In times like this:

Our
dear God \u2013given life is being threatened by the Covid 19.

\u00b7
Our
dear family \u2013scattered everywhere, maybe far away or at the center to which the
virus are fast transmitting,

\u00b7
Our
dear church \u2013 to which we are now globally hindered to be together.

Verse1: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall
abide under the shadow of the Almighty. \u2013

We
are living in the secret place.

\u00b7
We
are living in the bunker, a safe place to be

\u00b7
We
are living under the direct protection of God Almighty.

Verse 2: I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my
fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

\u00b7
We
can all say and declare before our God (not before the people, but before God)

\u00b7
God
is our refuge (tagu-an) ILLUSTRATION:
Ship search for shelter when storm comes, a rocky shade to where they can take
refuge until the storm is gone.

God
is our refuge and fortress \u2013 a fortress is characterized to be immoveable, it
can survive bombardment and attacks. Unlike Refuge is like a kanlungan, in the
care of God ika nga.

Verse 3: Surely
he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome
pestilence.

We
have the assurance of being delivered from any forms of evil even this uttered
pestilence. \u2013 Nagdudulot ng kabulukan sa
lahat na mahihina at pangamba sa mga malalakas.

Mga
PATIBONG PARA TAYO MASILO NG KALABAN. \u2013\u201c snare of the fowler\u201d

Verse 4: He
shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his
truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

I
am sure on this, that the feather of God we talk about is not earthly feathers.

\u00b7
I
am surprise some Christians being fooled with this teachings that angelic
beings visited their houses and leaves an evidence of roaster feather.

\u00b7
But
liken to a hen to her chicks, covering them. The warmth presence of God\u2019s power
protect us His children. Every feather counts for firm protection, we are under
His\u2019s wings. The truth of the matter is, God\u2019s children have this perfect
protection under the Lord as long as we remain to be under Him.

WHAT KIND OF HELP DO WE HAVE
FROM GOD?

Ps 121 \u2013 The First Chapter of Psalms
that I made a song.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the
hills, from whence cometh my help.

\u201c You don\u2019t know what
life in the valley looks like!\u201d

will not dare to take a nap, He is there 24/7 watching us.

4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel
shall neither slumber nor sleep.

In
fact, He doesn\u2019t need to rest. He is there watching all the time, not missing a
single bit of our moments.

I
remember that series: CLOY where Capt. Ri did not sleep and move until Se-ri

God
\u2019s attention is upon all of us.

5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD
is thy shade upon thy right hand.

the previous verse, it was His Feathers and Wings

Now,
it is His very Person as our KEEPER- taga-ingat natin.

God
is our actual shade

6 The sun shall not smite thee by
day, nor the moon by night.

\u00b7
He
will protect us from natural- cause diseases.

\u00b7
Sun
blocks are of important stuff for protection.

\u00b7
The
