I see the light in the sky. So big and wide and high. Round as can be. And yellow as a bumblebee. Blazing away, day by day.
Many call it Sun. Many call it God. It watches over us. Shines it's light upon us. Heat and hot is it's source, but we all know that of course.
Makes us grow. Feeds us you know. Keeps us alive. Let's all struggle and strive. Warms us, bakes us, creates us.
Without it we would be dead. Buried beneath the Earth that gives us bread. Life is funny you know. Today it is sunny, yet one day it will snow forever. There goes the weather.
Blessed be the light. And take away the night. In light we are blessed. In night we are nonetheless. Blessed be the light. And take away the night.
And yet we need the night to rest, nevertheless. To embark on the journey of tomorrow. In what we borrow from the sun, the moon itself is our brother as well. In turn we give thanks to both.
One cools us while the other roasts.
