Alas, the old blue house still stood, yes, the old blue house was there. Through good times and bad, through glad times and sad.
Born in the days of glory, dying in the days of horror. Once was a magnificent blue, now nothing more than the fading sea of yesterday's dreams.
It has seen life come and go, it has seen happiness and sorrow, it has seen it all within a century, more or less it is hard to tell for the dwelling within is hard to comprehend the beginning and quite possibly the coming end.
Blue it truly is now, sad for it has become abandoned like an orphan who no one loves no more. Nothing is as nothing was inside it's empty rooms. As if the haunting spirits of long ago past are it's only tenants and life goes on around it never to embark through it's front doors ever again.
Like humans we are born and we all die, but alas a house is just a house or is it what we only want to believe in. Even houses have hearts, they beat still within the walls that they are built upon and death to them is nothing but destruction and demolition.
Their Grim Reaper is the Wrecking Ball.
