"The Turkey Dog"

There was an old blind woman who mistook the old family dog for the Thanksgiving Turkey. Yes, she prepared it very well, she did what she did when preparing a Turkey. She cut off his head and stuffed his backend with bread stuffing, cooked him for many hours, then put the main meal with all the side meals by it on the big table in the dining room.
And yes, the family gathered around the table that year, being thankful to be together once more and they couldn't believe their eyes in the meal the old blind woman made.
Her own son took the carving knife in hand and took honors in cutting into the main course, "Wow Ma, you outdid yourself this year. The Thanksgiving Turkey has never looked this good."
"Thank you, dear. It was not easy chasing that big bird all over the backyard, but I got him."
And as they all said their blessings and started digging in, none of them noticed the animal going underneath the dining table though until it was too late.
The old blind woman's son lifted up the table cloth and said to his mother, "Hey Ma, I got two questions. Why is there a live Turkey begging for food under the table? And where's old Bubba, Dad's old bulldog?"
"Gobble-Gobble."
