"On a day of many sunlight days of the middle month of summer which was warmer than expected and what was somewhat in an odd perspective, I saw two separate pieces of wood on the ground that day, and to my sad dismay, just lying there as if forgotten that it once belonged to a beautiful tree, and now they were something mistakenly misplaced among our world before us, tossed among the memories of the past.
And alas, they laid there on that cold dirt ground, bound to the Earth that gave it birth, and there they laid by our trash of humanity, by our in-human behavior of our beautiful planet, along our poor pit of insanity.
And be that as it may, many people passed by the wood, ignored both as if it was nothing more than common litter among the bitter, but to my enchanted eyes it wasn't just two pieces of wood\u2026 it was so much, much more.
And like a mysterious door opening before me, to me it was two pieces of wood that could be lovingly adored by many if we just gave it a pity.
And so I picked up those two pieces of wood, held them like a Carpenter in each hand, felt the hardness and roughness of them together...then put them together, and what once was lost... I made a cross.
And so I laid that wooden cross on that cold hard ground by the garbage that man has created and the next day all was gone and lost...except for that wooden cross."
