Rahim Umrani alias Kalia, a Levies Forces\u2019 personnel, was shot dead by Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) sarmachars in Zehri area of Khuzdar district, last night. The BLA claims responsibility for the attack.
Rahim Umrani had been working for the Pakistani intelligence agency, MI for a long time. Meanwhile, he was involved in kidnappings of Baloch youth and crimes against the Baloch national cause. He has also been involved in spreading drugs among Baloch youth and other social misconducts. Pakistan army\u2019s patronage had given him a free rein in the area.
