He's your typical everyone's man. Garth is someone anyone can approach and expect a cheerful greeting. He's reasonable, and kind to all no matter who they may be. Courageous and outgoing, his help is offered to any who need it no matter the situation. On the other hand- he has been known to throw up a mask whenever something in wrong. He doesn't want others to know how he really feels, like if something is bothering him or he's depressed.

[ Bio ]
Born to Nohan and Calla, the boy grew up as an orphan on the streets.
After Garth's birth he only had both his parents for about a year. Calla fell ill after giving birth to him, the illness steadily got worse before her death. Nohan tried to care for his son as best he could, but was called into the army to fight the rising Gerudo powers. He was killed in the war, his last words to a certain ranger telling him to take care of his son and make sure he grew up right.
And so that ranger did- Garth was dropped off at an orphanage, to grow up surrounded by others in Castle Town. It wasn't an easy like by any means, he learned the tricks and tools to pick pocketing and stealth which helped him later in life. Once of an older age; he was chosen to become a ranger by Grim himself and taken from Castle Town to the Gathering Grounds to start his apprenticeship.
There, he met Sanne and they slowly became close friends and while there was a romance between them, Garth had his eyes set more so on Cynthia, a merchant girl from Castle Town.
He was an apprentice for five years, the standard amount of time, and acceled in anything he put his mind to. While not on-par with Sanne in skill, he can certainly atest to the high standards of the ranger corps. After graduating, he did much traveling on his own but always came back to his adoptive family at the Gathering Grounds.
Until one mission went particularly wrong- A trip into Gerudo ended with the boy's death. Seeing Garth might have possessed the spirit of the reincarnating hero, the Gerudo king sought to end anything which might get in his way. Garth was killed, and resurrected by a necromancer using the power of a triforce shard.
He worked under the Gerudo King's control, not knowing of his Hylian roots, for over a year before encountering Sanne, Gai, and Link after their imprisonment in Gerudo. He recognized Sanne, and her words sparked something in him to make him question the Gerudo King for the first time. They escaped Gerudo without harm and broke the spell on Garth to bring him back to his senses.
He's now located in Hyrule Castle on a parol of sorts, under the watchful eye of the Princess Zelda.

Horse; Named Arrow, he's a breed bred from Gerudo stallion who are known to be able to run at a steady pace without tiring. Highly intelligent.

He's lived on the surface for as long as he can remember, only one of two Hylians located in the sand sea. He and his friend Gai pilot a ship there, along with their pet Kikwi, Pillow. Why do they live together, alone in the desert? Peace and quiet really. They get their supplied and such from a trading post for people not brave enough to reap what little resources the desert has.
