A scan of 51 of the 52 cards in a 'Page Wire Fence Company' card set. These appear to have been distributed as some kind of promotional item somewhere around 1895.The Page Woven Wire Fence Company was established in 1886 and one indicates that the company is less than 10 years old, making the deck no later than 1896. Another card says business doubled in 1894 over 1893, so I guess that the deck was designed in 1895.
The cards all have a number (4 of each number 1-13), however there are no obvious suit markings. A few cards have a number of miles on the top. I theorize that the cards were used for a go-fish type game.
