DESCRIPTION
The Green Building Banner uses public data to add information about the energy usage of buildings to websites you already use.
New York City makes lots of data available to the public, but in a raw form that is difficult to use.
This Chrome Extension is an attempt to make some of that data more accessible.
The Green Building Banner was created during the Cleanweb Hackathon in NYC in September 2012. It was a collaborative effort by people from the following New York City companies: Bright Power, Emergent Properties, Enertiv, and Google.
At this time we only have a limited dataset (we built this from scratch in 24 hours!), but if there is interest we will develop it further.
