- Who is it for This is a nerdy tool that allows 'developers' to open long urls quite conveniently.

It is used with the site https://rewq.

app and is completely open-source.

If you ever find yourself, saving any url's in notes (instead of bookmarks) - then you are not alone.

I made this tool for us.

- How to create URL shortcuts You can setup your shortcuts on the website REWQ.

app (it uses offline local store).

Once a few urls have been setup, this tool becomes a very convenient way to open the urls with their shortcuts.

- How to use URL shortcuts To open a URL with its shortcut, type or swipe following adjacent characters in browser url bar.

REWQ Followed by a space and a shortcut name (you had previously configured in the site rewq.

app).

- Why REWQ It is a super lightweight (about 10 lines of code) and runs in background.

It takes no space on the browser bar and is activated only when user enters the magic shortcut - REWQ in browser bar.
