“Inspired by my findings in nature, ‘Under the Leaf’ was created to remind us that sometimes we only have to look under our noses to find what we’re looking for.
” Marisol Ortega is a first-generation Mexican-American designer, illustrator, and letterer living and working in the Pacific Northwest.
She pulls inspiration from childhood memories of visiting her abuela’s home in Michoacán, Mexico.
