While in college friends and I would take day trip photo excursions to different places around Central Florida area. This is a couple of train conductors we met on a day trip to Tampa from Winter Park, Florida station. As I recall we left Winter Park early in the morning

The Silver Star is a 1,522-mile (2,449 km) passenger train route in the Silver Service brand operated by Amtrak, running from New York City south to Miami, Florida via the Northeast Corridor to Washington, D.C., then via Richmond, Virginia; Raleigh, North Carolina; Columbia, South Carolina; Savannah, Georgia; Jacksonville, Florida; Orlando, Florida; and Tampa, Florida. The Silver Star also makes a detour to service Tampa, Florida. The two trains were inherited from Seaboard Coast Line Railroad when Amtrak took over most intercity rail service in 1971.
