- Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
- Do everything in love.
- Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.
- And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
- Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
- And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
- Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
- We love because He first loved us.
- And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
