I have been in the house for almost a year now and the soil has definitely turned a corner with plant health improving steadily. I thought now would be a good time to see some before and after photo's with the first batch below being the before photos.The plants are now responding well to earthworm water and, now that the cooler weather is here, the fireplace ash. The ash is mixed with water and scattered over a large area. This encourages the growth of clover which in turn supplies nitrogen.
