Circe was named after Greek myths which spoke of a woman born of Helios the sun God and Perse, an Oceanoid. The Circe of tales was spoken of as a Goddess of magic. She was talented in transformations and illusions, befitting the dark scales and genes that the Priestess possessed.
Her childhood was one of study and education, she furthered herself with gentle prodding by her parents to learn anything and everything she could. Her mother was the previous High Priestess of the Deosil Coven, who guided the Celeste just as her mother had before her, and before her. As such she was specifically raised to the challenge; spending her days by her mother's side to hopefully one day become like her.
All in all, she lived a very lonely childhood. She never played with any of the other children in the Coven, preferring older company due to her intellectual nature. Perhaps this stunted her later in life, for once she grew older and became an adult she became the face of a cold, stern woman.
Traditionally, when a High Priestess resigns it is done after many years of service to the Coven; but Circe's mother and father disappeared some time before she turned fifteen, and thus the title was passed to her immediately. No one knows what became of her parents, though many have accepted that they maybe dead at the hands of hunters.
Another chapter of the Priestess's life was marked with the birth of her daughter; Terra. Terra was conceived by an unknown consort who swore themselves to secrecy for the sake of the Priestess. Nonetheless, Terra is widely accepted within the Coven as a bright and eager child.

Many regard Cierce as emotionally stunted, while that may be truthful; her best interest is for the Coven's future. Though she's not very good at speaking or expressing herself, her actions speak volumes for her. She tries her best to understand others, but even her best isn't enough sometimes.
