This piece of paper was found taped onto a wall near a coffee machine. 101_0080-cage-transform.jpg: took like 25 minutes to make, using GIMP's Cage Transform tool; the Cage Transform tool needs more options, so it can be easier to use. 101_0080-shear-etc.jpg was created via cage transform (minimal change to make a parallelogram) > shear vertical by 148 > crop > Cage transform (U-like bent rectangle to regular rectangle) > crop > scale down a bit. JPG image 101_0080-shear-etc.jpg looks a lot less distored than 101_0080-cage-transform.jpg; also JPG file 101_0080-cage-transform.jpg somehow had a significant portion wrongly cropped off of it. Conclusion: when the perspective tool is inadequate, then the cage transform tool alone may also be inadequate; also, GIMP needs to add the ability to add diagonal guides.
