Glitterboo is a fun site for adding photo-realistic sparkling effects to your pictures.
It works with both graphics and photos, and you can download the results as images, animated GIF files or MP4 videos.
Pictures with a mixture of light and dark areas work especially well with the effect.
There is a gallery of photos and animations using the effects on the site.
